I lost another 3.4 pounds this week!! I cannot even tell you how excited I am about that. Who knew that eating healthy + working out several days a week = weight loss? :)
Week 1 Weight: 281.0
Week 2 Weight: 277.6
Total Weight Loss: 16.4 pounds
I'm also really happy to report that I got past the initial sugar cravings. I just realized I haven't even thought about dessert or drinking pop for a few days. Instead of sitting at work and dreaming of all the places I could order food from when I get off, I actually am excited about the dinners I have planned and cooked for myself. I am cautiously optimistic that this might really be the time I do this weight loss thing.
Are you a calorie counter?
Go, Lisa!!! Goodness gracious! What a beautiful loss. You're doing very well! Keep up the brilliant work. :)
ReplyDeleteYep...I'm a calorie counter. I need to be or else it'll be "epic fail" for me.
WOWWWWW Lisa, you are on FIRE! Congrats on another FANTASTIC week!!!
ReplyDeleteChubby - It is the same way with me. I cannot handle that whole "intuitive eating" thing. I'm loving my kitchen scale as a calorie counting tool. Weighing things is a really easy way to get the right portions and to divide foods up into single servings.
ReplyDeleteErin - Thanks so much for the encouragement! I'm kind of shocked at it myself. :)
Very good progress so fast! Keep working.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement, Coach!
ReplyDeleteThat's an amazing weightloss!
ReplyDeleteI've been doing a lot of food journaling, and calorie watching... as much work out as I can manage... I bet I can manage more, some times my motivation lacks.
I just want to be healthier, and look fit. Is that so wrong?
**smiles**
Keep up the amazing work.
I'm following you now! So don't let me down. haha j/k.
I have the same motivation problem, Kateri. The winter is the worst because my workout options indoors are limited and riding the stationary bike is super boring to me.
ReplyDeleteHey, I don't want to let you down. I've got to step it up now. :)
